The USA cancelled visas to the staff of the International Criminal Court (ICC) who, in opinion. the American side, can be involved in investigations against citizens of the USA because of their activity in military mission in Afghanistan. The American Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told on March 15 about it at a briefing, the press service of department reports.

"In November, 2017 the prosecutor of MUS requested approval to start investigation of "a situation in Afghanistan". It can illegally be undertaken for prosecutions and sentences in relation to the American personnel", - the official told.

It noted that request of the prosecutor for investigation is not reviewed yet.

"Thus, today, having the right to announce visa restrictions for any foreigner, "whose entry or the planned activity into the USA can have potentially serious adverse foreign policy effects", I announce visa restrictions for those persons who bear direct responsibility for any investigation made by MUS concerning personnel of the USA. Here persons who take actions for inquiry or further conducting such investigation enter. These visa restrictions can be also used for control of efforts of MUS on prosecution of personnel of allies, including Israelis, without the consent of allies", - Pompeo told.

"On these visa restrictions our efforts do not come to an end. We are ready to take additional steps, including economic sanctions if MUS does not change the course...
