Introduction of the new standard of emissions in Europe led to the fact that car makers on the Continent reconsider the model range. To the middle of the next decade most the companies plan to start the electrified versions of the cars to reduce the general emissions of a brand. It, however, does not mean that all their models will continue the existence.

Here and the new strategy of Opel developed together with its new owner PSA means both electrification, and reduction of a model range. On Wednesday the car maker published information on the plans for the future - for some cars of news are positive that cannot be told about others.

For example, the producer hopes that the attractive Opel Adam hatchback will make the contribution to compliance of a brand to requirements to emissions of CO2, however, according to Opel, it will not be replaced after the termination of life cycle.
